Longsleeve made entirely from deadstock, original British Army long johns from World War II, dated 1940.
Three pairs of underwear that never made it to the front lines were rediscovered in an old military warehouse after more than 80 years. Now, reconstructed and reimagined, they return to duty as a contemporary longsleeve.
The fabric is authentic 1940s cotton – soft, breathable, with a distinct texture and natural ecru tone.
Every button, stamp, and seam is original – a trace of the old system built to serve the military.
These preserved details have been integrated into the new form: buttons now create the neckline and side openings of the piece.
